What are the benefits of chewelry (chew + jewelry)?
Munchables are chewable jewelry (chewelry) that diverts chewing from fingers, clothing and pencils acting as discreet, stylish sensory aides. They provide a focus point, which can help filter out extra sensory information. Sensory Chewelry may help regulate attention, concentration, emotions and other behaviors.

Are Munchables safe?
Munchables offers peace of mind. As a Canadian based company, we understand how important safety is. Munchables are made of just child-safe silicone - no BPA, BPS, or phthalates are found in any of our products. Each item is durable, will not deform from use and will not support the growth of bacteria and mold.
When will my order arrive?
USA: 2-6 business days after shipment.
Canada: 2-10 business days after shipment. You can choose upgrade to Canada Post's Xpresspost for speedier arrival upon checkout.
Orders placed before 12pm are usually shipped the same day. All orders are guaranteed to be shipped within 1-2 business day from Vancouver Island, BC, Canada.
Do you ship internationally?
Shipping times range from 3-6 weeks depending on location. As of 2023, shipping times to the UK and Australia are about 3 weeks.
Express DHL, FEDEX and UPS rates are available for faster international shipments. These shippers deliver in about a week, but range from about $50-100CAD for a standard sized order. Please contact us for a quote. Please include your shipping address and the items in the order so that an accurate quote can be provided.
*Please note: Taxes & Duties will be collected once an item arrives in the destination country. Often packages are held for payment of these fees. It is helpful to attach a phone number to your order to ensure faster processing.
How long do chew necklaces last?
Munchables have six different chewing levels ranging from Mild to XX-Strong.
Our top recommendation for heavy chewers are the Donut with Sprinkles (XX-Strong). Some other designs that work well for aggressive chewers include the Scribbles, Yummy Gummy and Tire pendants.

As a thirty-something adult, I am unable to rip the silicone on any item, but with extended chewing and the powerful jaws of someone, it can happen.
In summary, durability will depend on:
1. Length of time chewed,
2. Jaw strength,
3. Type of chewing (simple chewing or scraping/twisting of necklace); and, the
4. Style of the item.
Please regularly inspect items for signs of wear and discard the product immediately if damage is found.
Can adults use chewelry?
How do I clean my Munchable?
You can put any Munchables items on the top rack of your dishwasher or wash them with soap and water.
My child (or I) chewed on the clasp and now it doesn’t close properly. What should I do?
Replacement clasps are FREE. We will mail you some clasps if you need to replace them for any reason within the first year of purchase. Just drop us a message. If you'd like to purchase some extras to have on hand, replacement cords and clasps are available for purchase.
We highly recommend the Munchables thicker satin ribbon Lanyards or the belt-clip style Retractable Lanyards for children or adults that are prone to chewing on the clasp. (Pictured right)
Do you accept returns and exchanges?
We have a 90-day return policy, which means you have 90 days after receiving your item to request an exchange or refund.
You will need to provide the invoice number.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your untracked returned item.

Yes, we accept purchase orders. Payment is due within 30 days after receipt. Contact us for additional instructions.

Can I reduce the amount of packaging used?
To reduce the impact on the environment, we are happy to try to combine items in the same retail package. For example, two zipper pulls can fit into the same package and up to three pendants can fit in one large necklace package. All Munchables packaging is reusable with a zipper closure for easy storage.
Why is my purchase sealed in a vacuum package?
If needed, items in retail packaging are sealed within a vacuum package to prevent package movement that may cause the envelope to exceed 2cm in width. If an envelope exceeds that measurement, Canada Post classifies the item as a package and charges drastically higher shipping rates (up to 10x more). Items shipped to the United States with USPS do not require this as rates are weight based.
