What can I give my child who chews on their shirt or sleeves?

Many kids chew on clothing because they need oral sensory input to calm their body or help them focus.

How do I choose the right chew strength?

Choosing the right chew strength depends on bite intensity:

  • Mild – Light nibblers who don’t bite through items

  • Medium – Everyday chewers (a great starting point)

  • Strong – Firm biters who chew often or damage clothing

  • X-Strong – Heavy chewers who need extra resistance

  • XX-Strong – Intense, aggressive chewers who require the most durable option

If your child breaks chews quickly, choose X-Strong or XX-Strong. For new or casual chewing, Medium is usually ideal.

Is chewelry safe for autism, ADHD, and anxiety?

Yes. Properly made chewelry is safe when used as intended.

What are Munchables made from?

Munchables are made from 100% food-grade silicone that’s free of BPA, PVC, phthalates, cadmium, lead, and other harmful chemicals.

Do Munchables contain latex?

No. All Munchables products are latex-free.

Are Munchables independently tested?

Yes. All products are independently lab tested to meet North American children’s safety standards.

Are the cords safe?

Yes. Every necklace includes a breakaway safety clasp that releases with force to help prevent accidents.

Is chewelry indestructible?

No chew is indestructible. Durability depends on your child's chewing style, bite intensity, and frequency. Our X-Strong and XX-Strong options are our most durable styles, but very aggressive chewers may still wear through them over time.

Product Care

How do I clean Munchables?

Munchables can be cleaned with:

  • mild soap and water

  • a baby wipe

  • the top rack of the dishwasher

How often should I replace a chew?

Replace the chew if you notice:

  • tears

  • deep bite marks

  • cracks

  • changes in shape or structure

These indicate it's time for a new one for safety.

Shipping & Delivery

Where do you ship?

We ship worldwide from Canada. Shipping options and prices are shown at checkout for your country.

How much is shipping?

Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on your location and order size.

FREE SHIPPING on standard size items is available in

  • Canada – Minimum purchase amount is $35 CAD
  • USA – Minimum purchase amount is $75 CAD

Oversized Items – Some items are considered oversized and may require a larger order to qualify for free shipping. Both the product and cart pages will indicate if an item is oversized and outline the requirements for free shipping.

How long will my order take to arrive?

Most orders ship within 1–2 business days.
USA: 2–6 business days after shipment.
Canada: 2–10 business days after shipment (Xpresspost available at checkout).
International: 2–8 weeks depending on location. Orders to the UK and most western EU locations are usually within 2–3 weeks.

My package shows as delivered but I can’t find it. What should I do?

Please double-check your mailbox, porch, and building mailroom.

If it still hasn’t arrived after 24 hours, please contact us and we’ll help.

Returns, Exchanges & Guarantee

What is the Munchables 90-Day Chew Guarantee?

If your chew breaks within 90 days, contact us and we will help you replace it.
Your satisfaction matters to us.

Can I return or exchange an item?

Unused items in original condition may be exchanged or returned within 30 days of purchase. Return shipping is at the customer’s expense.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your untracked returned item.

Ordering & Payments

Can I change my order after it’s placed?

Contact us as soon as possible and if your order hasn’t shipped, we can adjust it.

Will I have to pay taxes and duties?

Canadian Customers:

Munchables is based in Canada and all applicable sales taxes are collected at the time of sale. No additional fees will be due upon receipt.

USA Customers: 

Any applicable US import tariffs on orders are calculated and collected at checkout. There are no additional duties due on delivery.

International Customers:

All import taxes are calculated by your country’s customs office. The courier will send you a link to pay (usually by email, sometimes by mail).

Shipments are held by customs until taxes are paid.

Unclaimed packages that are returned or disposed of cannot be refunded.

Do you accept Purchase Orders?

Yes, we accept purchase orders. Payment is due within 30 days after receipt. Contact us for additional instructions.

Packaging

    Can I reduce the amount of packaging used?

    To reduce the impact on the environment, we are happy to try to combine items in the same retail package. For example, two zipper pulls can fit into the same package and up to three pendants can fit in one large necklace package. All Munchables packaging is reusable with a zipper closure for easy storage.

    Why is my purchase sealed in a vacuum package?

    If needed, items in retail packaging are sealed within a vacuum package to prevent package movement that may cause the envelope to exceed 2cm in width. If an envelope exceeds that measurement, Canada Post classifies the item as a package and charges drastically higher shipping rates (up to 10x more). Items shipped to the United States with USPS do not require this as rates are weight based.
